Consumer analytics platform with social media overlays - real consumer persona generation.

The Brief

Blot is modern data analytics company. Using both demographic and psychographic data, blot creates detailed consumer personas that accurately target new potential buyers and markets for brands.

The owners requested a brand make that incorporated the name within it. They presented key terms like ‘hitting the target’ and ‘ink blot diagram’ as part of their brand key terms.

The Solution

The owners of blot are group of young tech entrepreneurs with a great sense of humour. Using the key terms supplied by the owners, I took a stylised ink blot that could represent the Rorschach system as well as an ink blot left by Airsoft – often played by the founders.

Finally, the addition of a single colour dot at the end to represent the target being found within the shot outline.
